T is for Tea

Tea is getting a theatrical upgrade.

For LOOS – ’t verschil zit ’m in de T, Juup Luijten of Schippers & VanGucht works with a theatre group of people who are or have been homeless or without a home, including participants from SMO Breda and the surrounding area. Together, they play with the many meanings of loos and our perspectives on homelessness and the lack of a home.

We are teaming up with Juup and the ever-impressive Ilse Wolf for some urban foraging along Breda’s canal. The gathered herbs will end up in a big pot of tea during the performance. Turns out the city has been growing the props.

LOOS takes place at Podium Bloos on October 10th, World Homeless Day.

The foraging walk is free to join.
